I installed Squezebox Server QPKG, everything working just fine.

But after installing Qget (v 2.1.1.1413) and adding the ...

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my home NAS to possibly one of the above two models. I'm new to qnap but it has been highly recommended to me

I need to run an iSCSI target to run around 5 lab vSphere5 virtual machines (I intend to run this from one of the NIC ports, and use the other NIC port for all other traffic - if possible??)
I also need ...

Backup speed?

Hi,

Just purchased a Qnap 419P and have some question.

When the Synchronizing window for NatBak Replicator is visible, I can see what is going on in the process.
1. A 700 mb file is stored in 10 seconds or so, very fast. (only have 100mB, waiting for Gb switch, due to stoneage ISP router.)
2. Then the application starts thinking. It takes about thirtyfive seconds (35) for it to find next file ...

Amazon S3 Backup Advanced options

Hi

I have a few features to the Amazon S3 Backup that I am sure others also would find useful.

1.
Create the Bucket/Folder in S3 if it does not exist.

2.
Dymanic folder name containing date, day name (sunday), week number(1-53), month name (Jan - Dec) or month number (1-12)
Or even better, customize using format like "%m-%d-%y" (or similar)

Hi

Why is the job name limited to 16 characters. Should be ease to extend, or?
