It's pretty sweet that there are both Dropbox and Google Drive apps for the QNAP servers now I one will eventually be released for Box.com. I recently transitioned over to them.

I got myself a Popbox V8. But it doesn't realy satisfy, because I only got folder structure of my movies on the NAS (which are ripped as ISO images, stored in subfolder strcuture).
Searching the internet, I found some advises that claim you need to install YAMJ (on the QNAP), supported by the YAMJ app on the v8.
And that's where the trouble starts: I find a lot of threats on how to do that ...

I tried to installed the lastest version of mkvtoolnix from Optware and it doesn't seems to have it. The current version installed is 4.2.0-1 which is pretty old. Do anyone know where i can grab the lastest version of this package for qnap.

Hi, after my, bad, experience with Owncloud I'm moving to another soluction to sync several computers, now I'm going to check BitTorrent Sync, there's any qkpg package?.

I just reset my TS-109 recently (firmware 3.3.2) and found this machine can not install any QPKG any more.
I've tried downloaded both Intel x86 and ARM QPKGs but all showed "Installation failed".
Any input will be appreciated.

I was wondering if anybody around here could possibly put together a qpkg implementation of Aerofs. It looks very promising and it would be a blast if it run on QNAP devices.

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I'm really stuck. I have purchased a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T Stick. I have connected this to the USB on the NAS and I want to record digital TV on the NAS.

I'm trying to install applications with QPKG for the first time, and I have an issue.
From the Home>>Applications>>QPKG Plugins page on the NAS I click the "GET QPKG" button but I never get a list of any packages.
I get the response:

Sorry, QPKG information is not available.
To install QPKG, go to "System Update" and click "Browse…" to select the QPKG file. Then click "Update System".
