I have 2 young children who are both using a streaming client and I would like to restrict the access to special directories in twonky.
As far as I know it is not possible with twonky to restrict the access to directories to given clients without running a second instance.

Tablet : Thinkpad tablet, CM10, jelly Bean

When I fire up the apps they do not rotate sideways like on an iPad when I have my KB connected.

Are these apps optimized to work on a android tablets? Can I change something to enable this feature ?

Vmobile seems to work fine and seems to rotate fine with the tablet.

I try to enable the iTunes server, everything looks fine in the Qnap admin, and if I'm quick in iTunes (on a MAC) it lets me se the files, after about 30 seconds the files disappear and when i check the admin into the iTunes server is unchecked.

I activated Mulitmedia Station and Photo Station with no problems but both do not work:
If I click on one of the two links displayed for the Photo Station I receive:
The service is not activated.

If I click on one of the two links for the Multimedia Station:
empty screen

If I click on one of the two links for the Web File Manager:
the application starts without any error

So I got a leftover TV Tuner from my Boxee box.
It's supposed to have a Hauppauge tuner inside, but TV Tuner says it cannot detect anything.
Just wanted to check out if anyone has a trick. The QNAP support says it supports "Hauppauge WinTV NOVA-T Stick"

How to change the port of Twonky media server to have it on 6000 instead of 9000.
Is it conflicting with another services?

I want to chnage it because the TV box receiver only get UPNP Media server stream from port 6000, and no possibility to chnage it (builtin adsl provider BOX)

i have a ts-212 unit and want to set up a photo dropbox/depository where a group of about 15-20 people can upload thier photos and all the other members can also view the other users photos.

is this possible and if so can anyone help me set this up?
