I've had my TS-210 Nas for some time now and haven't had any problems until now.
Today I installed the QFinder 4.0. Started it up the first time, it found my nas and everything was working.
I noticed QFinder showed there was a firmware update so I selected Update firmware from the QFinder menu.

Hi, is it normal that Transmission downloads maximum only 6 files at the same time?
I have not found parameters to set this data; I'm looking for something like "Number of simultaneous downloads", but I don't find it and the application downloads only 6 files at the same time, not more.
Please help me, I'm a new NAS user... :ashamed:

i just do not want to open another thread, because i think my problem is comparable.

I have the TS-110 NAS with 2 external USB-HDDs. I flashed Debian 7.0 on it and everything works great, but now i just rebooted (the first time) and the Qnap only blinks red/green while the bootup process. Just bought a TS-219P II at a bargain price and I' m ready to start this new journey.

One simple question to start : is it possible to use the TS-219P II only with two external eSATA disks without any internal HD ?

I recently upgraded all the drives in my TS-859U-RP from 2TB to 3TB drives.

I've updated the firmware to v 3.8.3 Build 20130426

The drives I am using are Seagate ST3000VX000 drives (which I have verified are on the supported list for this device)

I am trying to set up the QNAP with RAID 5, however the total size when I build the array is always 14212.65 GB, not 19396.99 GB like I ...

4 iMacs connected to QNAP 219P+ sharing files in an office.

We are having problems with word (version 2007 and 2011)
Even if only one user has opened one file, the user still gets the error (see attachment).
And are forced to work "offline" and then replace file on server.
