hello i am thinking of getting a QNAP TS-869 Pro for a media server what version of the QPKG would i need to download to be able to use them with this nas

Not sure I understand your question. What QPKG are you talking about? You would always download the latest one that is out there.

sorry should of put a bit more info in the post i take it i have to install the intel version of it to work with the TS-869

Yes. the 869 has an Intel processor.
