QG-103N(QGenie) Upgrade HD?
Can the hard drive be replaced or are you stuck with the 32GB SSD it comes with? Would be nice to put a 256GB HD in it.

Wild guess - it's most likely something soldered-on, like an eMMC chip for example. Small and energy effective.father_mande wrote:Officially response is NO you can't change it

It's only clipped together, so with right tool you can open.
Internal Storage is a simple USB 3.0 stick with 32GB.
You can swap this one to a 256GB (formated with NTFS)
And simply copy all stuff from original 32GB storage to new one.
At me, works seamless.
(Keep in mind, waranty will void)

Afraid, it's it not ... a standard USB 3.0 does provide 5 V DC plus/minus some, for low (150 mA) and high power (up to 900 mA) ... while the internal one here is just supplying 3.3 V DC, and the power available has limitations of course, too. Luck and fail can be very near.hartmann wrote:Internal Storage is a simple USB 3.0 stick with 32GB.
