SuperSmash wrote:Hello all,
There is a known problem that TimeMachine does not work with Mac OSX Mountain Lion.
You will get the error oserror2 when trying to backup to your TimeMachine
I got the fix:
1. Open a terminal
2. Type in the following line: sudo tmutil setdestination afp://TimeMachine:email@example.com/TMBackup
(Password is your Timemachine password and the ip-address is your timemachine ipaddress (QNAP NAS disk ipaddress)
3. Open System Preferences
4. Click on TimeMachine
5. Choose select disk...
6. Select your TimeMachine backup disk (TMBackup)
Enjoy backing-up your Mac OSX Mountain Lion using the QNAP NAS Timemachine feature !!!
