RRTR problems!

Post by serambca »

I have a Qnap with RRTR activated to replicate folders into other Nas (Synology) by FTP Connection.
I configure correctly both nas server because the transfer is correctly from my Qnap to other NAS, but i have 2 two problems:

- When i reboot the destination of copy (other nas), my Qnap Server can´t restore the comunication, but stop & start the work and run again... It´s no normal!

- When i try to transfer from other nas into my nas by RRTR (FTP), show me a message :
"ERROR: Can´t get information of the source (remote side) directory : ....(!46)

I check this remote directory and files and i check it permissions correct to user to try access. The problem is the different file every works RRTR.

Can someone help me?

Thanks!

Why are you using ancient old FTP. I'm pretty sure Synology supports Rsync, so you shouldn't need to rely on FTP at all.

As for the warning, it explains the issue. As the "other NAS" is the Synology, asking here probably won't help much.

HI!,

Synology have Rsync protocol but i dont use it because only run if i put files on this.

I need a "get files" from the Synology Nas.

If i configure QNAP by Rsync to connect to Synology, if i programed by hour, dont problem.
The problem starts when i configure RRTR ( only this option i can configure to get files by FTP protocol ), show me the error ...

When i try to configure QNAP by RRTR ( by FTP ) to connect to my Synology, dont problem ( if i dont reboot Synology ).
If i reboot synology, QNAP lose connection and dont run ... show me other error... but i stop/start the work and run again.
