Re: Qnap + Synctoy
Thank you but that setup is plugging the external hdd to Qnap. My case is I plug in external hdd to laptop and Synctoy to Qnap. Also some files do not sync like the Qnap/multimedia folder do not sync with external hdd using Synctoy.onlyalex wrote:Hi mate

Re: Qnap + Synctoy
So the QNAP share(s) are just plain simple shares participating at one end in a Synctoy process. any messages, and lgs, and details, ... Probably Eight-bit file names in place on Multimedia for example while the complete path is UTF8 potentailly?

Re: Qnap + Synctoy
Synctoy from NAS shares to the laptop connected external drive. Sounds easy...bugyou2 wrote:Thank you but that setup is plugging the external hdd to Qnap.
Have the share connected, ie. mapped as a share, or referencing it using an URI (ie. \\nas\Multimedia)? Has the user running Synctoy access to the Multimedia share? When you can write files to the Multimedia shae, can read files from the Multimedia shre it's hard to understand why synctoy should not wowrk...bugyou2 wrote:Also some files do not sync like the Qnap/multimedia folder do not sync with external hdd using Synctoy.
