Time Machine Backups

Post by yfried »

I have a new Qnap TS-469L. Running 4.0.5 firmware and QNAP OS.

I'm accessing it via a Macbook running 10.9.2.

I can backup to a local disk with Time Machine, and can setup the backup to the NAS, but get repetitive errors.

I backup to a non-Raid disk that is just for this mac's backup and one other Time Machine backup (also not working)

This is the error message from Time Machine

The backup disk image “/Volumes/TMBackup/Yosef's Macbook.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error (null)).

And from the Console ( I deleted the last backup and tried again)

4/14/14 5:29:11.501 PM com.apple.backupd[66160]: Backup failed with error 21: 21
4/14/14 5:29:42.341 PM com.apple.backupd[66160]: Failed to eject volume /Volumes/TMBackup (FSVolumeRefNum: -128; status: -47; dissenting pid: 0)
