[TS-659 - 4.1.1] Qdownload stuck in initial spinning flower

Post by kstaniek »

I can't open the Download Station anymore. It always stuck in the initial "spinning flower" state. The GUI does not show up.
I upgraded Download Station 4.0.5, removed reinstalled and restarted /etc/init.d/btd.sh and /etc/init.d/thttpd.sh

Anyone can help?
Thanks,
Klaudiusz

Check if root and HDA_ROOT file system is not run full, or near full:

[~] # df
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/ramdisk 139.5M 115.7M 23.8M 83% /
tmpfs 64.0M 2.5M 61.5M 4% /tmp
tmpfs 1.5G 28.0k 1.5G 0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda4 371.0M 282.6M 88.3M 76% /mnt/ext
/dev/md9 509.5M 122.4M 387.1M 24% /mnt/HDA_ROOT
...

Reset the download station:

[~] # /etc/init.d/btd.sh reset

Note you might have to reconfigure it, and bring back any jobs.

Doesn't look like the disk space problem:

[~] # df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
rootfs 140M 118M 22M 85% /
/dev/root 140M 118M 22M 85% /
tmpfs 64M 328K 64M 1% /tmp
tmpfs 495M 28K 495M 1% /dev/shm
/dev/sda4 371M 268M 104M 73% /mnt/ext
/dev/md9 510M 123M 388M 24% /mnt/HDA_ROOT
/dev/sda3 295G 223G 72G 76% /share/HDA_DATA
/dev/sdb3 221G 188M 220G 1% /share/HDB_DATA
/dev/sdf3 2.8T 2.0T 774G 73% /share/HDF_DATA
tmpfs 32M 4.9M 28M 16% /.eaccelerator.tmp
tmpfs 8.0M 0 8.0M 0% /var/syslog_maildir
[~] #

[~] # /etc/init.d/btd.sh stop
Shutting down Download Station: .....OK
[~] # /etc/init.d/btd.sh start
Starting Download Station: OK
[~] #

I have upgraded to 4.1.2 with restarting before as recommended.
I have removed and reinstalled Download station - no luck so far.

Is there any log file I should look at to track down the issue?

What about the mentioned reset, instead of stop and start?

[~] # /etc/init.d/btd.sh reset

I executed ran /etc/init.d/btd.sh
No success.
Then removed DS from the AppCenter then ran '/etc/init.d/btd.sh' reset and then instal it back.
No success neither.
