Restart Download Station TS-210

Is there a way to restart or reset the Download Station on TS-210?

Recently, my download station does not downloading anything. It was working but out of blue, it wasn't.
It show the download task is running. It also shows the size, percent=0%, download rate=0, upload rate=0, seed/peer=0/0, time left=99:99:99, Share Rate=00, DHT=On.
I've tried the delete all tasks and upgrade the same firmware that I was using (hoping it would reset the download station) but not.
I can download the same seed on other BT client, which proves the seed is working.
firmware version: TS-210_3.1.2_Build1014

It's becoming annoying. Is there any other BT QPKG that I can run?

I am new to the QNAP for 2 months. So far, I am enjoying it. I've setup my personal web page, Joomla, phpMyadmin.
Next task is to setup XDove. It looks like no-ip can provide MX record even for free service.
My ISP provider keeps changing my IP and sometimes, no-ip cannot track it on time. It also block port 80 which is bothering me. Too bad, this is the only provider in my place. I am ** with it.

 Another thing that TS210 does not setup right is the email notification.
SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587 and 465 (I've tried both but no luck)
Enabled SMTP Authentication
Used SSL/ TLS secure connection

Anyhow, hope you can share your experience.

Some background on SMTP - works here (and always did for a longer time) on several TS with Gmail:

- Check the NAS can resolve the SMTP server IP (e.g. # ping smtp.gmail.com), is not, ensure DNS servers are configured on the network interface IP settings.
- Can a desktop e-mail client send e-mails to the same e-mail provider, to the same server, and the same port? Some ISP redirect all SMTP traffic to own SMTP relays.

Configure SMTP Server
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
Port Number: 587 or 25 (appears to work now, too)
Sender: admin@ts-210.myname.no-ip.com (<< kind of a correct SMTP sender address)
[x] Enable SMTP Authentication
User Name: [MYNAME]@gmail.com (<< complete Gmail username)
Password: [MyGmailPassword] (<< correct Gmail password)
[x] Use SSL/ TLS secure connection

Hi Kurt,

Thanks for your respond. im able to ping smtp.gmail.com. i can check my email (outlook) at home with all default settings. I haven't setup my email server on TS-210. Im planning to do so since no-ip says it's 5 MX record.

BTW, why there is ts-210 in the sender email address? I would try it tonight and see if it would resolve the problem.

Thanks Kurt, using the IP address of smtp.gmail.com works for email notification. thanks.

Still stuck with the download station. I am tempted to do a system reset to see if the download station would go back to normal. I went to the shop, the sale experts said i shouldn't have updated the firmware. Is there a way to downgrade back to the original?
