QGetMobile: Manage downloads on iOS/Android/WinPhone7/Nokia

Hi,

I have a QNAP 419P and last night just purchased your QGetMobile, it worked beautifully, however I have a wish list and hopefully you would consider implement them.

(1) Support for CJK font (Chinese, Japanese and Korean), at the moment the list is shown in unreadable font, but the downloading part is still fine, except I can't distinguish them.

(2) Support for iPhone4 Retina display please...

QGetMobile and QGetMobile HD v1.7 are now live on the AppStore. Let me know what you think !

Enhancements:
- iOS 4.2 compatibility (Multitasking for iPad !)
- Reduced connection timeout to 10 seconds instead of 4-5 minutes (in case of error)
- Connect automatically *only* if last connection was successful
- Improve user's first impression with a welcome message + info on where to find the tutorial
- Split Application settings and Server settings
- Added possibility to set up several things:
- Maximum number of downloads
- Maximum upload/download rates
- Download schedule
- Improved look and feel:
- Toggle button for "on/off" settings
- Made lists prettier (standard iPhone)
- RSS feeds on several lines
- Swipe to delete in lists (settings)
- Reorder searchers/rss feeds
- Created new Retina icons (for iPhone 4)
- Added a default website to load in the settings
- Optimized RSS feed "Mark as read" mechanism
- Added Spanish and Finish languages
- Added a button to close the keyboard when sending a comment

Bug fixes:
- Automatically prepend "http://" if not specified in the URL when adding a new download
- Crash when editing a searcher
- Cannot browse a HTTPS website
- Remove spaces when adding a new URL (in case it was copied from somewhere)
- Do not remove the RSS configuration when it fails loading
- If a RSS feed contains one item, it won't be displayed
- Crash with some malformed RSS feeds

HI, this app is great, I just bought it...i wanna ask..don't you wanna make simmilar app for windows ?
Qrapid and Qget just fall short my requirements...
i like the D/L func from rss and the option to save the rapidshare,hotfile and others servers

so this app for win will be great

Yes, I've planned to release a "demo" of the application for Windows/Mac... and I will probably do so in short term !

Any news about when we might expect the windows version? Also will it be able to handle multiple links at once so I won't have to copy paste them one at a time, I'd love that

Hi,

The windows version will be a working demo of the iPhone version. It won't have more features and will be free. There is no planned release date for now, but I would say in the coming month.
