I don't mind anyone making any application that could be better than mine and taking my place since I don't make any profit of it. As I mentioned in previeus posts, Qnap could add a multidownload functionality to ther Qget and no additional apps would be needed then.
If you want to help the "community" then why don't you try to release the source code of your programs? Maybe when it comes to your code the ideas of leaving everything unprotected will change. Anyway this thread is just for bug reports and feature requests. If you want to talk about programming etc then start a new thread, and I will post there if asked, don't bloat here with stuff that users don't need.

All I did was run it through Reflector, which by the way is possible to do by anyone who are interested in learning. Every great developer is "stealing", as you so eloquently put it. Why reinvent the wheel
If your tool was commercial and you made a living out of it, I would of course not have posted in this thread... But most new developers (at least with .NET) seem so eager to protect their "intellect" instead of just providing their knowledge to the community.
In my experience there's no need to obfuscate or even protect your source. If someone want's to make an even better application than the one you did, they will... Trust me...
But as you might already know, you're still the only one who have made such a, if I may say, great tool, which of course practically everyone with knowledge about .NET and programming in general could have made (no criticism - most great tools are simple!).
Just keep in mind that if you provide the stepping stone and don't keep up, others will most certainly take your place - decompiled or not
BTW, isn't it time for an update
