Has anyone tried AppleScript? I think it can be used to create a system level right click menu item, which should be "Download all with QGet", then it should catch all the links on a web page and call QGet with them one by one. (I even prefer clicking 40 times on an OK button, than having to copy-paste all the links one by one.)

This won't work for me ... exactly as with the Download Station, it just lists the downloads in the Run List for like 2 seconds, then moves them to the Finished list - downloaded: 0.0MB ... I'm a Rapidshare Premium Member ... I try to download movies from my workplace :(
I got the latest firmware.

I had same problem but when trying with Vista, Works fine with XP

This is not a problem with Qrapid. If you try to add many links with Qget or with the web download manager the effect is the same. It has a deferent behaviour. When you add many downloads they completely freeze and sometimes it's hard to even remove them from the download list.

I've tried to add only 1 link in QRapid and see no links in Download Station. Why ?

Hey.

First of all. Thanks for the great software. Its sad, that such programs needs to be made, and not are made in the first place. As this thread shows, It is a feature that are needed.

The program just rox. Its Simple as that. However.!

Theres some small issues you might need to work on.
I have tryed the program for windows XP. And i get some error's once in a while. Plus the Download station needs to be reset once in a while (properly not your programs fault, I just have to mention it. )

One of the major issues i get, Is the Exception error Seen below.

The error occurr when i press go and the response of server is slower than expected. And when i press go twice.

Code: Select all
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I dont know, if its the program or the download station. However, The speed it adds the link to the download station is really really slow.

Feature Wanted:

If you want to develop more on the software. Then i have some suggestions.

A. Can you make it possible to use more than one Pre acc ?
B. Make the program go into tray
C. Upload (is it possible?)
D. Able to Delete files in the DL station
E. Make A note for the Downloaded Links. ect. A place where you can type in the password for the files you downloaded.

Some of those features would be awesome to see in a future upgrade.

and again. Thanks for your work. Its really useful!

Edit: I run Qnap TS-409 Pro Turbo Nas, with the latest firmware
If you cant "NAS" It. Then Trash It!

The speed that the program uploads links depends on the Download station since it waits for a link to be sent in order to send the next one.The only thing that I can do for this issue is to just disable the upload button until the procedure is done.

A. Yes
B. Yes
C. Qnap does not have an API to upload files, It's just a download station
E. Where would you wanted to see the notes? |When the files are sent to the station they are cleared.

Thanks for your suggestions I hope I will find time to make an update soon

Hey thanks for your answer.

E. Where would you wanted to see the notes? |When the files are sent to the station they are cleared.

It could be done several ways.
1. You could make it so, the user can see the links after they are done. exactly like in the download station, but where you can right click and view notes.
2. Another way, is simply to let the program make a txt file with the note in it. ect. when you add files, there's room for a note. When you press send, it creates a txt file the same place as where the rest of the files are downloaded too.

I think your doing a great job with it. the past week have it been working without any problem. (maybe after i updated my XP :D)

I have a suggestion more, if you tend to continue updating it. What about a update checker or so ? :)

Edit: A link checker maybe ? :D

Hi kosdian,
your work is really superb. I cant live without the easyness of your tool.

Can you please add Megaupload compatibility? It would be a great addiction.

Tank you anyway

After a couple tests I found out that download station will not work with netload premium accounts due to a wget parameter it uses: "--content-disposition". apparently this flag (used to set local filename to the one used on the http header) causes wget to fail to receive any data

Code: Select all
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... No data received.

anyway, I am currently using my own shell scripts to process URLs and download the files in batches (I run them in the Qnap itself), so this does not affect me. Just thought that maybe people here would find it interesting as it is also probably the cause for problems with other services, so stop buggin the creator of this thread with requests for megaupload/netload/megashares/whatever, his program just tells the download station what to download, it's the way download station tries to download the stuff that has a problem

oh and for the curious these are the typical wget parameters download station uses (on my TS-639 with 3.1.1 at least) for http downloads:

Code: Select all
wget -T 30 -t 5 -c --no-cache --auth-no-challenge --content-disposition -P /share/Qdownload/ --limit-rate=0 --user=<user> --password=<pass> <url>

Hey QNAP, if you want to add netload premium compatibility just replace the --content-disposition flag with -O <outputfilename>.

Kosdian,

Is there any chance of getting Qrapid to work over a proxy server?
Thanks.

Great app. Is it possible to combine it with SkipScreen or similar in the future?

Hi.

Qrapid work perfectly first time.

After pasting many rows (more then 30) it gave me an error.

Now is not working anymore: I click the GO button and it stays stuck. It uploads to the QNAP just the first row, but download station is not downloading anymore

?????
