QGet FTP => FTP

Postby DaaN » Tue May 15, 2012 4:51 am

Hi .. :)
Is there one of you who have had FTP to FTP in QGet to work?

I have tried and tried in every possible way, but it refuses to download ..
Searched and searched the forum .. googlet part .. read Qnap User Manual without finding anything about "FTP to FTP" ..

Normal FTP works fine as it should .. but when it is FTP to FTP using QGet .. so that conflicts ..

I think even that is because I will not type the correct URL into ..
So my question is this so, there is one who has gotten it to work, which will throw a screen dump of QGet so I can see how it should be? :)
I'm from Denmark, SORRY my very bad English! :-)

For FXP to work, it needs to be supported on both ends. (No idea about QGet, would suggest to use a normal FXP-capable client on your PC.)
QNAP, why is your homework still not done?

It is also smart enough, but then I just do not put the NAS started to collect from other ftp, and then turn off my computer .. Then it disappears beauty of a nas server's a bit :)
currently I use FlashFXP on my computer .. but it requires the computer that I have standing on, that is exactly what I want to avoid using QGet and so FTP => FTP :)

I kinda do not understand what you are doing and why you need FXP for this. To merely download something to QNAP, you need just normal FTP which works perfectly fine in Download Station/QGet, whatever.

You must explain .. I have for many months tried without success ..

I will, for example. put my Qnap to download from a companion Qnap which is at the other end of the country ..
have tried various paths .. The path is certainly not written correctly, but only to explain a little about where I want to go with my questions ..
Have, among others tried with these two paths .. unsuccessfully

ftp://IP:User:Password:Port/DaaN/DaaN.img

ftp://user:password@Ip address/url-path

Hope it makes sense :)

I cannot see what is your problem, sorry. FTP client just works.

If you want to synchronize two QNAP units, you might want to have a look at RSYNC, which is a built-in feature.
