A friend of mine has an Qnap NMP-1000P. He tried updating to the latest firmware but it seems that something got messed up.
The system is unable to start anymore, the screen says starting up, please wait...
My friend tried flashing it again but the update never finishes. I also tried the same:
Started up in safe mode, selected different versions of the NMP-1000P firmware (including older once).
The USB stick blinks for about a minute or two and stops blinking. The screen says: The firmware updates takes about 10 min.
The system wil restart. Please wait.
Waited a couple of hours, but the system does not restart itself.
Tried the update with and without the HDD, but the fw never finishes and the system is not starting.
Anybody got a solution for this problem?
Thanks. Robin
