Can't connect to Nas with Qremote

Post by enigmaNet »

Hello,
I have a problem with Qremote not being able to connect. The NAS shows up when you click on 'search'. But when you try to connect to it, it says:
'Connection failed. Please make sure that the HD Station is enabled on your NAS.'

The HD Station is operating fine on my TV. I'm using a samsung galaxy s2. I have everything hooked up to my asus wireless router. I can even use the Qmanager app to access my nas remotely.

Strange that only Qremote can't connect. Any ideas?
I have the TS-651.
Thanks.

Do you see HD station login page on your TV?

Okay -- I fixed mine. Here is what happened. I upgraded the firmware on my router before the problem. Apparently while the wireless router was down, my iphone joined a printer wireless. I have my cell connection with data, so I didn't notice. As soon as I changed my iphone back to my normal wireless network QRemote saw the NA and connected to control HD Staion. You probably won't have this exact problem - but maybe it can give you some things to check.
