You can install it on QNAP, but it's not part of the default QNAP firmware... so I don't think I'll add that in QGetMobile, sorry !

Thanks for replay.
Is it possible to add (in app) a shutdown and restart the QNAP?
Thanks

Hi all !

Thanks to QNAP, the new firmware v3.7.0 adds magnet link support !

I've updated QGetMobile to v1.12 on the Google Play (Android Market), and it is now able to send magnet links ! Just add them using the "menu" key then "Add" in the "List" view !

Remember that you need firmware 3.7.0 or later to have that feature ;-)

For iOS and WP7, it'll come later because there's some validation !

Cheers,
Jérôme

Hi all,

I have reduced the price of QGetMobile to 0.99$ on the AppStore for one day, it's time to try it!

Jerome

Im having trouble connecting to my server remotly any ideas?

It says invalid IP address or port. I used the tool to find my public IP and I stuck that in but still no good?

What format do I need to put in the serverip box? ip then name of my qnap or...? Also port 8080 should be right?

OK, then you need to forward the 8080 port in your router configuration.

Ok ill try that when i get in. I can access my qnap via mycloudnas.com so isn't it already forwarding~?

What do I need to put in the server ip box? Just the public ip or the public ip and the router name.? It you could show me on here exactly with a made up ip and name etc that would be great

Cheers

Just create a second profile with your public IP instead of your private IP, just the ip address. If you forward 8080 to port 8080, the rest should be exactly the same as when connecting in wifi.

Qgetmobile on Nokia Symbian Belle

Postby maurice1 » Thu Jul 26, 2012 4:28 pm

Hi
I see that qgetmobile has now gone up from €4 to €5 on ovi store.
This is a pity as I bought it at €4 and since I moved up to belle I have to download it again and now it will cost another €5.
Does anyone know if this more expensive app includes magnet links or any new features?

Would anyone have a good list of RSS feeds as most of mine seem to only work a couple of times then break

Hello Maurice,

Despite of hte uppercae Q ... this is not a QNAP product - wrong place to complain here.

Please excuse my ignorance - I'm a 'droid - does Ovi Store not maintain and keep the products you licensed and paid for before, and carrying it forward to the new phone? Hard to imagine...

Hi,

If you use the same account to download the app, it should be free on the OVI Store, so you won't have to pay once again.

Cheers,
Jérôme
