QNAP TS-410U - Authentication Failure

Postby jfk1701 » Mon Dec 19, 2011 11:54 pm

Hi,

I have a QNAP TS-410U running an iSCSI target with 2 LUNs. I am not using CHAP authentication.

Since a reboot, everytime I try to connect to the iSCSI - either to a Virtual Disk on the device itself or from an external device, I am getting an "Authentication Failure".

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have backed up the settings and attached the .bin file if that is any use.

Have you updated the firmware recently by any chance? Does rebooting your Qnap make things work again?

If rebooting the Qnap makes it work again then I think you're having the same issue I am: The kernel on the Qnap is panicing (crashing) with the latest firmware.
