TS-x79U RAM compatibility?
I ordered 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3 ECC 1600 PC12800 RAM to upgrade my new TS-EC879U-RP system. The system will not boot up. It works fine with the 4GB ram that came with it. I can't find anything about exactly what type of RAM I need. I'm assuming from all my research that it can only handle PC-10600. The label on the RAM itself only says 4GB DDR3 1600, so it's not very informative. Can anybody confirm this for me or lead me in the right direction? Thanks!

Re: TS-x79U RAM compatibility?
Is the old ram perhaps low voltage? 1.35v vs 1.5v ?
Also known as DDR3L vs DDR3

Re: TS-x79U RAM compatibility?
I'm not really sure. I'm having a hard time finding any info about the RAM that came installed on the device, much less what type of RAM I can use to add more memory. Both the RAM that cam installed and the RAM I purchased both just say DDR3. The RAM originally installed just says DDR3 1600, but that's not telling me much since I can purchase DDr3 1600 PC12800 RAM. But that didn't work for me.
