USB3.0 HDD detected as 2.0

Post by lewis.brooks »

Hey all,

I swear my QNAP used to register my 1TB USB 3.0 usb AS a USB3.0 but atm it is showing up as USB2.0

Ever heard of this at all?

My QNAP is a TS-469L and the ExtHDD is a Western Digital My Passport Portable 1TB

Kind regards

Accidentally plugged it into a USB 2.0 port?

Huh weird, just updated to QTS4.2Beta and it's now recognised as USB3.0 again.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with my TS-453 Pro with QTS 4.2 (stable).
I've tested with an USB key and an external HDD (both FAT32). I'm really disappointed.

Aware that there are USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports on your NAS?
