[TS 659 Pro] UPS Not Detected

Post by express »

Hi

I have a TS659 Pro running firmware 4.2.0, running macOS

I also have a Powercom Imperial Series IMP1000AP and I can't seem to get the QNAP to recognise it...

I have run "lsusb" and it is recognised:
Bus 007 Device 006: ID 0d9f:0002 Powercom Co., Ltd Uninterruptible power supply

If I connect the UPS to my mac and run windows through fusion, I can see the UPS. So I am pretty sure that the usb cable is good.

But I cannot see it in the WebUI. I have researched this for hours on end, and have come up with no results. If anyone can help, I thank you in advance!

Did you check the UPS is on the compatibility list for your model of NAS?

https://www.qnap.com/i/uk/compatibility ... category=9

if its on the list then Submit a Ticket with QNAP. if not you may ask them to add driver to support it, or go buy a supported UPS.
