Anyone got a Canon Pixma MP610 printer to work? I only need the print function and don't want to buy another printer. Thanks

My Canon LBP2900 is not working. My Canon MP270 printer works great.

I can add the LBP290 from Windows or Bounjour, both ways it spools the test page and then the status becomes error.... and nothing is printed.

Obviously works no problems connected directly to PC.

Using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, Canon iX5000 printer can be installed again using local port.
Printer issue on my NAS seems solved. :D
Removed the Apple Bonjour print wizard for Windows option.

Recently an ink cardridge needed to be replaced. The printer stopped printing. (This is normal). The NAS showed an error for the printer.
But when I replaced the cardrige, the status did not return to ready and the printjob was not finished. I had to dis- and reconnect the USB connector to get the status back to ready again. Now the printer works again as it should.

PM Sent. Dell 1720 Laser printer. Works about 1/2 the time. Either prints a page with random character on the 1st line, or that page and then the print job. Testing from different work station has the same results. Printer works fine on another Linux system using CUPS.

Printer: HP LaserJet 1018
NAS: TS-210 Turbo NAS
FW: 3.4.1 Build 0315

Does not work - Printer is seen in Windosw and Bonjour and can be connected. But printer job stays in queue and nothing gets print out. Status of print job is always completed.

Works fine with FW 3.3.9 Build 0120T and Windows.

Update: Disabling Bonjour (FW 3.4.1) does not help.

RX-620 / Mac

Postby JonMac » Fri Apr 01, 2011 2:49 am

Epson RX-620 to Mac 10.6.7 (and earlier).

Yes, it's old, but a workhorse.

I can add it... send print jobs to queue, but it immediately balks and goes to Pause mode. Hitting start won't work.

It worked fine when I first got the TS-210 on original firmware, but upgrading killed that. Most recent firmware does not help.

HP Deskjet 810C

Seen by TS210 as HP DeskJet 895C, however can map drive and see printer device to it from Windows 7.

When first adding can print test sheet and documents fine - qucik no issues.

Once I reboot PC's or laptop -the print spooler on TS210 NAS is very slow -just seems to sit in queue. Can see the printer properties and queue immedaitly -even sending start, pause, restart has no real effect -very slow to print.

I have a Samsung ML-1210. Printer has been working fine for months. Recently upgraded firmware to 3.4.1 Build 0315T, printer now works intermittently. Print jobs will show as completed, but not all pages will print. Often, every other print job will fail. Frequently I need to clean spool space of printer in order to get printer to work again (or power cycle printer). This is after printing one or two pages of text, so I wouldn't expect that I'm filling anything up....

My printer (HP Laser Jet P1006) never works on my NAS, so I've upgraded its firmware to version 3.4.1 build 0315T.
Now I can see what tasks are in the print queue. Thank to that option I finally saw, that I'm doing everything right, but the NAS is working wrong.

I've tried both methods (described here) and various drivers to install shared printer on Windows. Of course everything works... alright almost. Printer appears in proper window, but I couldn't print anything (even the test page). Any task after few second disappear from tasks list and nothing was printed.

Today (after reading new posts in this topic) I've installed Bonjour Service for Windows.
The difference between printing with Shared Printer and Bonjour is showed on the image below:
Image
Printed files names are showing on the list, when I'm using Bonjour. When I'm not using it - they aren't.
But that is almost not important.
Nothing is physically printed, but all tasks are completed.
That's the real problem...

EDIT: Nothing changes on FW 3.4.2 build 0331T

EDIT 2: Nothing changes on FW 3.4.3 build 0520T

I have a Canon Selphy CP740 and it use to work prior to 3.4 but now cannot get it to print. Even with 3.4.1, my print will just not print.

I have set up the printer as per the new method of using URLs.

I just bought my TS-410.
with the firmware delivered on the cd...(dont know which one it was, at least under 3.4) my HP officejet G85 was recognized by the NAS, and I could detect it in windows 2000 and windows 7.
Updated to the latest version. the nas says the printer has a ready status. but I can't find the printer in any way in windows.
