Greetings!
I have a QNAP 419P II with a Canon ip4500 attached on USB port 2. My Win 7 PC prints to it without a hitch, and the web interface shows the print queue with the documents, all great. The Printer's network name is DOOFNAS001PR2.
On My MacBook i'm having trouble getting the printer to print anything.
I can see the DOOFNAS001PR2 network printer form the Mac when i select "Add Printer", i choose the printer (listed as a bonjour printer), select the canon ip4500 driver from the list and it mounts up fine.
When i go to print a file, it says "processing job", "looking for printer" followed by "connected to printer", and hangs there forever, and there is no printing. I'm connected via WiFi (and Ethernet too as I'm running a Time Machine backup to the NAS right now too).
The print job does not appear in the queue from the web interface, but the PC ones do, and work.
Any help would be appreciated!!! I've read all related posts up here and none helped with my particular case, deleting printers, using bonjour, NOT using bonjour, its a headache! I'm on Lion 10.7.
