The TS-210 (NAS model of this thread) uses a 60mm x 60mm x 15mm Form Factor, so your reference product is less than useful.bifulcog wrote:These are quiet also:

The Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM you mention is 25mm thick, will that still fit the TS-210 even though it comes with a 15mm fan?pwilson wrote:

Probably not ... this is what Patrick already tried to say ... when you want to change ie. a fan please check your hardware.dkratter14 wrote:The Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM you mention is 25mm thick, will that still fit the TS-210 even though it comes with a 15mm fan?pwilson wrote:The TS-210 (NAS model of this thread) uses a 60mm x 60mm x 15mm Form Factor, so your reference product is less than useful.
In this TS-212 (fan is ~14 mm thick), it will _not_ fit ... the chassis does give free room for just about ~20 mm.

Re: TS-210 cooling fan replacement
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the fan supposed to pull air in or blow it out?
I purchased the Evercool EC6015SH12BP that others mentioned, and I'm not sure which way to install it.
If I turn it to blow air out (like I think it's supposed to go), neither the original QNAP screws, nor the new Evercool screws, fit.
If I turn it to pull air in, the QNAP screws will fit, but the center of the fan touches the case and prevents it from spinning.

Re: TS-210 cooling fan replacement
That's the correct way. No screw holes on the pressure (outer) side, or different screw holes layout there?dkratter14 wrote:If I turn it to blow air out (like I think it's supposed to go), neither the original QNAP screws, nor the new Evercool screws, fit.

Re: TS-210 cooling fan replacement
I finally got it installed the correct way, using the original QNAP screws. It took a bit of work because the screw holes seemed really small, but I got it. Thanks.
