esata hdd problem : plugged drive failed to work

Hello guys

i plugged my external hdd through the esata port on my qnap.

It worked for a few days and then I couldn't access it anymore, it says : plugged drive failed to work

why ?

I rebooted the nas and i've got the same problem

I cannot disconnect/reconnect the external HDD since i'm too far from my nas (remote Datacenter)

is there any other way to manual mount it through command line ?
