DVB Link v5, Qnap 212 V4.1, PCTV-461e

Post by Kingturkish »

Hi,

I had previous firmware until today when I upgraded to 4.1 on my QNAP 212.

Before 4.1 DVBLink v5 could find my PCTV-461e stick and all worked, but now DVBLink cannot find the stick. It can only be firmware 4.1

I've tried restart of server. Remove v5 DVBLink, reinstall and tried both USB ports on rear. Tried different configurations of install and plugged in, not plugged in, plugged in no power etc. etc.

Can anyone help please or can I go back a firmware?

Thanks for your help.

QTS 4.1 comes with a new Kernel - contact the makers of DVB Link for an update.

Apparently, it's already done?

https://forum.dvblogic.com/viewtopic.ph ... d601cd42c1

Edit: FIXED

Make sure PCTC-460e / 461e is plugged into USB and powered and backup your current DVBLink settings

1. Install 4.1 to QNAP
2. Restart NAS
3. Uninstall any current DVBLINK packages
4. Restart NAS
5. Download DVBLINK V5 from dvblink
6. Install manually
7. Restart NAS
8. Enabled DVBLINK
9. In DVBLINK install latest TVSource build
10. As above install EPG Loader
11. Remove power from 460e / 461e, wait for 30 secs, plug back in
12. Open sources in DVLink and the 460e / 461e will show

Hope this helps someone. Thanks.
