USB over Ethernet
Is there a way to connect any type of USB device to the NAS, then with a utility on both the NAS and the client computer emulate the connection as if it were connected directly to the client PC?

How much time have you spent on your own research? I guess about none?

Thank you for the link. I did research it first, although not deeply. Surprisingly neither "usb over ip qnap", nor "usb over ethernet qnap" shows this page on google.
