USB over Ethernet

Post by mkoch »

Is there a way to connect any type of USB device to the NAS, then with a utility on both the NAS and the client computer emulate the connection as if it were connected directly to the client PC?

Thank you for the link. I did research it first, although not deeply. Surprisingly neither "usb over ip qnap", nor "usb over ethernet qnap" shows this page on google.

You didn't research this very much either. Try this one instead.

Perhaps you could provide more information on what you do actually want. You got "terse" answers due to "terse" information provided. Perhaps you could provide more information.
