LogiLink VG0025 - Firmware install

Post by wolfspirit »

Hi Guys and Girls ;)

i have here an LogiLink VG0025 an try to install the firmware , but i dont know how.
Could you tell me where i have to install the firmware , on debian its not a problem and it works fine but i have an newer kernel there.

lsusb shows me the this output :

Code: Select all

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 05e3:0608 Genesys Logic, Inc. USB-2.0 4-Port HUB
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 187f:0202 Siano Mobile Silicon Nice
My DVB-T Device is ID 187f:0202 Siano Mobile Silicon Nice

Perhaps the Howto from debian will help but i dont know how i do this on the qnap system .... http://debianforum.de/forum/viewtopic.p ... 8&p=962420

Key point isn't the newer Kernel: Are there any ARM binaries available for the loadable Kernel objects, drivers, ...? Useless to think about it if the vendor does not offer support for Linux on ARM.

Everybody is strongly encouraged to make use of supported peripherals like DVB receivers.
