Hello,
Seconds after I access any of my media folder on NAS (movies, MP3) via SMB (Windows Network) from my Windows 7 HE notebook, this idiotic system is creating there those nasty media-related files like thumbs.db and AlbumArt*.jpg. It happens because I'm connecting with user/login having write permissions to these folders.
Is there any easy way to block this? Because it drives me crazy (especially that it works ONLY on NAS - I never seen a bit of such files on my local notebook disks). I hope there is any solution other than connect to NAS via SMB with user having only read permissions.
Boy, how do I hate Windows and those stupid brains from Redmond, which are so sure that user will require this or other feature that they don't allow to turn it off too easy! :/
Cheers,
Trejder

I'm answering myself. This article contains useful informations that *should* solve the problem (should - because, hey, it's Windows - here everything is possible! :])...
