Why the audio is not managed ??

Foscam audio support will come later. It could be next firmware version.

Hello, i have problem with motion detection & foscam 8918 - i cannot get it work. On continue recording, works fine but cannot get motion detection to work.

on schedule i check "motion detection" I apply, refresh page and again the continues recording is checked and not the motion detection, again and again also try all from camera interface but no luck - any help much appreciated.

Motion Detection into 8910 is working perfect. I have checked "send images" and set a medium parameter into sensibility.

I can not get motion detection to work, ts-119 and foscam 8904W, i just say "not recording", 24/7 recording works fine.

Please help

I have a same problem. I can select The motion detection recording but that doesn't work on TS-119 and Foscam 8904W.

Same here with my 8904W. Motion detection does nothing!! Continuous works.

Have done the basic montion detectin config on the camera, ie. sensitivity, detection area? Beyond, the Surveillance Station requires a privieleged access to the camera to adjut the configuration for motion detection - a view-only account is not enough.

The Foscam motion detection does work with Surveillance Station. Please follow the instruction.

1. login to foscam admin page > Device Management > Alarm Service Settings > Enable the Motion detection armed > Submit
2. login to Surveillance Station > Setting > Schedule Settings > Motion Detection Recording for 24x7 days > Apply

Then, check the "Live View" Status bar will display the motion trigger icon. You can search the event recording data at "Playback" page.

Here is the setting page of Foscam FI8918W.

You can try to configure the FI8601W with the other foscam models to see if they use the same SDK.

Tried many times in past, and try it again with no luck with my F8918
The motion detection is not getting armed (even if selected it gets un-selected by it self).

and also why Foscam are not mentioned on the official compatibility list?
