Hello,
I have a qnap TS-451 with 8Go Ram and use Virtualization Station to run an Ubuntu 14.04 VM.
Everything works fine except that ubuntu doesn't detect any sound device on the Qnap TS-451.
It is normal since there's apparently no such thing as a sound device embedded in Qnap TS-451 but when i access to my Ubuntu VM remotely via the HTML5 console in Virtualization Station or via a VNC client i cannot hear a sound.
I expected my ubuntu 14.04 VM to work in the same way as Music Station app which allows you to listen to the music on the nas remotely without any problem.
In Ubuntu when i check i see only "Dummy output" device in the Sound Settings.
is there a way to emulate a sound card and broadcast sound via a VNC remote connection ?
How does Music Station App manage to do so if it's not possible in Ubuntu 14.04 ?
Thanks everyone.
