Problem VM/OS installation on TS-451

Post by davidhot74 »

Hello
I have TS451-4GB. I follow steps to install VM Windows.
I have the complete DVD version of Windows 8.1
I have created the .ISO file and the VM (see attached file 1:
File 1 _ VM windows 8 final step creation.jpg
)

When I use the console to launch / install the OS Windows, I have the message error "boot failed"
(see attached file 2:
File 2 _ Boot failed disk at console launch.jpg
)

Thank you very much for your help

Disable PXE/Network booting in the BIOS of the Virtual machine -OR- configure the PXE Server at 192.168.1.1[/b].
It is attempting (unsuccessfully) to PXE Boot from the device at 192.168.1.1.

Hi Patrick
my problem of VS Windows installation is now solved :
I have deleted my Virtual station and created again.
Now everything is OK. My error was to click on "insert VS driver" (insérer pilote VM in french), then the iso file target was not Windows 8 but the iso file of "VM driver"
(I don't know what is the function of "insert VM driver")
