Unable to set Default Gateway adress

Postby avdlans » Mon Aug 20, 2012 10:35 pm

Hi All,

I want to assign static IP's to the TS-459U network interfaces but Im unable to do so.
I receive an error "Invalid IP".
The default gateway address the customer is using is in a different range than the IP adresses used/assigned to the network interfaces of the devices.

When setting the interfaces to DHCP enabled the problem is solved and the Default Gateway is assigned correctly.

Any idea how to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

The default GW has to be in the same range as the IP of the NAS. Are you using the correct subnet mask?
