I've just transferred all my photo/video library in my qnap and I'm starting to use photo station. I've correctly added the source folder and photo station finds:
12034 photos
If I use Picasa (installed on mmy win PC) to see the very same lib, it finds:
12659 photos
Why the numbers of the same folder are different?

Re: Photostation: number of files
I've discovered that some jpg files are not find by photostation but are find by picasa. Now I have to understand why photostation do not see those files. Please, give me a suggestion...

Re: Photostation: number of files
Unfortunately PhotoStation has limited setting options therefore it is difficult to say how it works, if there is some filter, dupe check or, on the contrary it's a problem of the database created by Picasa...

Re: Photostation: number of files
Hi,
I do not think that the database created by Picasa can cause a problem in photostation: now i'm testing with just a folder containing just 4 JPG and one of them is seen by photostation and the others not. Another strange think is that I'm able to open them from the mediaviewer in filestation.
It seems that those jpg have an attribute that makes them incompatible with photostation....

Re: Photostation: number of files
are they small files with dimension less then 400x400?
media library would skip the small files in my testing.
