Random Video Files not recognised in Mulitmedia Station

Postby LaurieJT » Wed Jun 27, 2012 3:56 pm

My device = QNAP 439 Pro 11+, with V 3.7.1 firmware.
I have over 400 DVD's all of which are in mp4 format and can be found and viewed with web file manager

My problem is that about 15 videos cannot be accessed directly from the Multimendia station on my Qmobile (IPad).
When I log onto my Qnap and try to view the files in the multimedia station - I get the message "no file found". However the file is accessable on myNMP1000P.

I have reset the permisions and ran [~] # set_volume_mode Multimedia but still not working
Would appreciate if any can assist please

Some specifics on these 15 files, ie. the size for example?

Ok i checked all files and the common factor is that they are all above 2Gb. Is there anyway I can work around/change this ?

I too am interested in this. Mine are all m4v formats and I've got a lot of missing films when accessed through the portal, or on Qmobile.

...compare ownerships (user/group) and the Unix access rights mask, ie. from the Web File Manager, or from the NAS Linux shell, ie. # ls -ls /share/Multiedia/video/folder/*.m4v
