HDMI display is GREEN

Post by jaypeenas »

I currently have a QNAP T-469 pro, I have enabled the HD Station, and installed both xbmc and chrome. however when i plug the qnap directly into my tv with the HDMI cable, the screen appears green, not to mention the hideous quality. please someone help me sort this out

whenever i had that happen, it is a bad cable. Make sure the hdmi cable is properly inserted, or change it. HDMI cables are 19 core and very sensitive to bending if too sharp so easily damaged. Check for dirt in the plug/socket.

I am experiencing the same problem.

To my ASUS 27" LCD (Computer Screen - HDMI port)
-video is fine, looks great

To my Pioneer Elite SC-71 -> Samsung 46" 8000 series LED TV, its green / grainy!
-same cable as used to connect to my Asus 27" LCD.
-different / known working yields same results.

Any thoughts?
