When a domain user logs into the web interface of the qnap they have to put the [domain name]\[username].
Can you please modify this so all they need to type is their username. This can be done by querying the domain search base first and if the account is not found then search the local user database. This just makes the User experience a lot cleaner can helps most users because they don't even know what their domain name is.
Thanks,
David

Re: Domain User Account Login
True - however, how to authenticate against local usernames then?

Re: Domain User Account Login
The qnap auth service will just query the domain user base first then if the account is not there then move to automatically check the local user base.
