QNap remote tweaks RM-IR002

Post by masi0 »

XBMC offers tweaking remote functions
e.g. using XBMC with MacMini + mini Apple remote we can use two functions for each button (short press / long press)

It would be good to have same feature in QNap world with stock RM-IR002 remote

e.g. short press OK opens menu to choose different remote functions while long press could be STOP
etc.

would that be possible to adopt on our great piece of tech?

Check out the XBMC Wiki. You can probably modify your /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/XBMC/root/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/keymap.xml file to add additional mappings.
