Raid 1 migration failed doh!

Postby egarim » Sat Jul 21, 2012 1:54 pm

Hi all,
I alway use my 219 with only a single disk configuration 1,5TB seagate sata disk with 3.6.1 Build 0302T. Yesterday a bought a identicality drive (same manufactor, size and firmware) and then I started the migration to RAID1 configuration. After 4hours the nas restarted and started to blinking red. Here the log:

2012-07-20 15:45:59 System 127.0.0.1 localhost [Mirror Disk Volume: Drive] Start removal
2012-07-19 19:00:02 System 127.0.0.1 localhost external ip is change ,update ddns.

2012-07-19 13:16:25 admin 192.168.7.135 --- [QPKG Center] MLDonkey disabled.
2012-07-19 13:12:00 System 127.0.0.1 localhost [Single Disk Volume: Drive 1] Do RAID Migration to MIRROR.
2012-07-19 13:00:58 System 127.0.0.1 localhost Drive 2 plugged in.
2012-07-15 21:14:10 System 127.0.0.1 localhost [USBDisk1] Device removed successfully.

A cat of /proc/mdstat give me that the main partition was degraded! I remove the drive from configuration but now I can't retry to build a RAID1 with the same drive. Is possibile to find more detailed log about what is failed during the creation? Thanks
