Hello folks
I have a LUN with more than 2,7tb of size. I am not able to access it via iSCSI Initiatior.
Is there any other way to access the files?
The LUN was created as an .IMG file with three files inside (.000; .001 and .002)
Tks
Alexandre

That's an extremely "useful" description of the problem.alexandre-ipcons wrote: I have a LUN with more than 2,7tb of size. I am not able to access it via iSCSI Initiatior.

Nope. Your File-based LUN is nothing more than a huge data file as far as your NAS is concerned. The only way to access the data within it, is via a iSCSI initiator from the same OS as is installed on the LUN.alexandre-ipcons wrote:Hello folks

What type of OS/filesystem did you format it with? Windows/NTFS perhaps?

Re: Accees content inside a LUN
Tks Patrick
I believe it was formated with Windows Server 2008.
I am able to connect it via iSCSI Initiatior, but the FILE SYSTEM of the disk is reconigzed as RAW so i can not accees the content inside. Windows says I need to format ir, but I can't because of the files.
Any help?

If the FS is screwed to the point where it's no longer recognised, good luck with recovery.

So Format it, and restore your data to it from your Windows Server 2008 Backups. (This is why you maintain regular Backups).
No Backups? Try out doktornotor's suggestion.
