Hello, something strange happened...?
Access to my NAS over cloud or Dynds service changed from port 8080 to 8083 ie. if I want to get to my NAS from
remote location I need to specify in all my apps :8083....?
How can I "get 8080 back"?
Thank you,
Marko

Restart the Admin interface (or the entire NAS if you can't figure out how to restart just the WebUI).
Check your port-forwarding in your Router too. It might be forwarding:
- WAN:8083 --> NAS:8080

Re: Port 8080 changed to 8083
it was my Router...?
I do not remember changing anything??
Port 8080 works again BUT after running "Auto Router Configuration"
I noticed another entry in Router list was created automatically i.e.
Web Admin - TCP Any -> 8083
Now, I can access NAS through bot ports ie 8080 and 8083?
Any idea why "Auto Router Configuration" defaults to 8083?
And how to change this?
System port in General settings is set to 8080... and I did reboot NAS as well.
Thank you.
regards
Marko

Re: Port 8080 changed to 8083
Sorry, I'm too paranoid to use that feature of my Router/NAS. I only use "manual port-forwarding" here.markokk wrote:it was my Router...?
