I'm having problems with my Webserver
When i connect to it through WAN it will work fine for a day or 2 but then i'll get a "Page Load Error" without changing any settings
I can still connect to the webserver through LAN on the same port and it works fine..
the traffic routing is fine on my router as i can connect to my QNAP administration using port :8080
any ideas?
Im using: V 3.0.0, build 0430T

Re: [HELP]Problem with Webserver
What do you see in the apache log files?
Standard logfiles (if you haven't changed the location yourself) are located under /usr/local/apache/logs
And if you issue the
commands, do you see any errors or warnings?
Standard logfiles (if you haven't changed the location yourself) are located under /usr/local/apache/logs
And if you issue the
Code: Select all
/etc/init.d/Qthttpd.sh stop
/etc/init.d/Qthttpd.sh start

Re: [HELP]Problem with Webserver
the only errors i get is when i start the service..
"Could not determine the servers fully qualified domain name, using 192.168.1.3 for ServerName."
I realised when the webserver works and then stops and I change the port from the default of 80 and set it to something else it works again.
i stil cant see it being a routing issue as it does work for a while on port 80 then it will just stop workin without me changing anything..
Im not sure how to read the log files =(

Open the logfiles with WinSCP.
The warning is of no consequence.

maybe your firewall's router has (has not ?) the ability to block attacks from wan (flood, DoS,...), and hangs up ?

Re: [HELP]Problem with Webserver
ok i have cleared the error logs and will check the next time this happens.. it hasnt happened for a day or 2..
I dont think I have NAT enabled on the router.. will have to check this out.
Just to clarify.. i used the webserver for 8 months on v2.1.4 without any problems and no settings change...
thats what makes me wonder is it something to do with v3..
I am also having this problem which i think is related to v3: http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=15535
