Hi Guys,
Just to let everyone know, I've asked on Qnap facebook page when will they upgrade the php version and the answer was by the end of this year, when launching the new firmware version. The php will be upgraded to 5.5.
Regards,
Luis Osorio

Re: PHP version upgrade
There is no real way to do it without Qnap issuing an update. It has left me with no choice other then http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=3 ... 15#p445312

Re: PHP version upgrade
I am sharing IPKG packages for the TSx19 series (see my signature), it took me some month to get a stable working version.
For other models you can compile it by yourself, it may be tough hard. Then you webserver and apps may work under the latest version while the QNAP apps keep on running under the version provided by firmware.
