Thanks I've just installed to share my reharsal records with my group so that I do not have to give access to my QNAP.

Now I have to reconfigure almost everything I set up on my old pc. :)

Hi Stéphane,

I remember that during the installation of pydio on ubuntu there is the possibility to do not set up a database (see this guide for example).

However I have seen that in your install there is not such possibility.

Anyway, I have installed pydio without selecting any database (I could leave it blank) but after the login I get the following error (even if I can access):
Error while loading repository feature: Empty SQL default connection, there is something wrong with your setup! You may have switch to an SQL-based plugin without defining a connection
I have searched on the net and I found this solution here:
1. login as admin in pydio
2. go to Settings > Application Parameters > Features Plugins > Workspaces Drivers > access.fs
3. Under Default Metasources you will find: "metastore.serial,meta.syncable,meta.filehasher,index.lucene". Just take out "meta.syncable".
4. Save the change and login off and in.
However I still get the same problem. Any hint on how to solve (I can ask on Pydio forum but it may be package installation related...).

Thanks!!

Hi

just follow the wizard and in the TAB "Configuration storage" use the selector you have choice between Databose or No DB ;)

Hi Stéphane,

I have re-installed pydio, selecting No DB, but I still find the same error.

I now realize that it does not load neither the "My Files" neither the "Common Files" workspaces. Maybe I have to manually create them otherwise it does not know what to open?

good to know! So I don't need to install any further package, just select it from the dropdown menu list?

Thank you. Sorry but I am still new with the Qnap (I am much more used with debian/ubuntu) and I don't want to break anything as I have now all my files on :)

EDIT: thanks Stéphane, using Sqlite3 made the trick!!! :) :)

Hi Stéphane,

FYI, I have just seen that QPydio 6.0.7 is out with some security fixes: https://pyd.io/pydio-core-6-0-7/

giopas

EDIT: I have just checked, and the upgrade from within the 6.0.6 installation works just fine!

Merci d'avance

Hi rdt2009,

This is an English speaking forum. The solution to your question is that you have to open/forward that port on your router in order to make it accessible from remote.

Moreover, if you have not done it already, set up your CloudLink/myqnapcloud user access.
