Help Certificates/ no longer access

Postby samoht7100 » Mon Aug 06, 2012 5:18 am

Hello all,

After I did this: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=59439

I can no longer get access to my ts-212. Not though finder, or bye right clicking in my "network" on my pc.

It shows on my shared network - and i can play music from TwonkyMedia
but HOW do i gain access to it again ?  :?:

I need to get back in before i can restore the SSL & Private certificates..

Hope someone can help me !
Thx
Thomas

Have forced http to https?

Login on the NAS by SSH from your computer (Windows: puTTY, OS X Terminal app: ä ssh admin@[NAS-IP-address]) using the admin credentials. Then you can enter the commands (the [~] shows just the currecnt directory, the # is the prompt.

Does this work?

[~] # getcfg System "Force SSL"
1

If this is 1 - you can disable the forced https:

[~] # setcfg System "Force SSL" 0
[~] # /etc/init.d/thttpd.sh restart

Now you should be able ot login on the http channel again.

Hi Schumaku.

THANK you for helping !
Well I can get in though putty - and did what you asked me. Still my browser comes up emty and says
no connection.

And yes after i typed: getcfg System "forced SSL"
it showed " 1 "

The weird thing is everything - all my services seems to run from the nas - but just can´t get access...
Is it possible to reset the certificates from Putty ?

Thx again.
