Lifecycle chart?

Anyone know where I can see when models will be EOL?

What is EoL in your question - no longer orderable from the factory, no longer deliverable to customers, no longer getting feature updates, no longer getting security updates, ...?

For me, EoL is when there will be no more updates available and no more spare parts are available - what makes it impossible to operate. Actually, the TS-x01 Series iis EoL, TS-109/209/409 Series is legacy - works as-is. All newer NAS are not EoL.

By EoL I mean, no longer manufactured and hence limited to buying what's left in resellers' inventory.

Anything listed under "Products -> Archive" does give an idea. Other models are still readily available in the distribution chain - however, this does not say everything is still available in volumes, we know most TS-x59 Pro II became short in Q2/2012 already.

So more like End-of Manufacturing, which would impact the manufacturer's business relations with distributors and resellers if disclosed. Therefore I would be surprised to see any manufacturer share that information with end users.

My slightly educated guess (but without knowing anything about the future roadmap) would be that with the introduction of TS-X69L there would be no point in manufacturing the TS-X39 or TS-X59 models any more. I expect the new USB 3.0-equipped TS-X19 Pro II to still be in production and maybe the TS-X12-models (at least the 1 and 2-bay).
No, RAID has never ever been a replacement for backups. Without backups you will eventually lose data!
