I think you will find its more like maybe 1% rather than the figure you suggested. I believe there are most likely plenty of people that have purchased these units that would like to see this feature enabled. There are likely many people that own these products and don't know about this forum, and even if they did, not everyone would join a forum just to comment on one particular thread, that doesn't at all suggest they wouldn't like to see this feature added.

I am not suggesting its the end of the world, or an essential feature, but I doubt it would be hard or take very long for this to be added.

Well - Im another who has joined this forum specifically to +1 this feature request.

I just bought two of the TS-459 Pro+ boxes and loaded them up to 12TB each. I am very happy with the little boxes performance and this would be the only improvement I would suggest.

Cheers,

J.

Well I didn't expect to see someone join up just to comment about the LCD light. Thanks for your input JBoman, and it shows there are many others out there that would like to see this feature.

What are you using two 459`s for J, is it for home or business, and what drives have you installed..?

Hi Folks,

I´m a happy owner of a TS-659 Pro II 4 x 4 TB Raid 5.
The only feature I´m missing (beside a rs232 port) is the "Always On" option for the LCD because I don´t like the (kind of ugly) lcd_tool workaround.

So +1 please :)

+1 Count me in for the always on as an option. Rotating information - chosen via the webpage- as suggested would be very nice!

I would also love to have this feature available, i have two models with LCD... Would be nifty for it to be able to scroll the various stats, or to be able to specify something you wish to monitor constantly.

Hi Lars,

Please add the suggestion to make it configurable. I'm sure, I'm not the only one, who don't need/want the LCD permanently on.

Thanks

Yeah, well, I guess that's what they're asking for, an option as it is now and an always on option.
