Unable to connect to VPN server (PPTP)

Postby lvdspek » Sun Jun 24, 2012 4:06 pm

Hi,

I configured a PPTP server on my QNAP 119 PII. I configured mycloudnas.com. I am able to administer the NAS via the Mycloud website but I am unable to connect to the VPN server from my iPad. I did everything according to the user manual. I do not know what to try now. Help would be appreciated.

On the 'auto router configuration' tab the NAS is reporting that the status of enabling port 1723 on the router is OK.

Hi Leander,

No it does not work... finally the router was configured as VPN server, which is a good-enough alternative.

cheers

The NAT PMP diagnostics soes not look like a successful Aoto router Config to me. consider manual port forwarding instead.

For completeness: What NAT router is in the play here (Make, model, firmware version, ...)
